teaching

Yesterday Evelyne and I gave a interview lesson. Giving lessons in English is sometimes hard (even as writing) because you can't explain it the way you want it. Just because you forgot some words. Than you have the students who want to know everything about everything. So we were telling them about the difference between a personal interview and an tv item interview when they raised there hands. 'So can you explain us about all the differenty (many words in english get a y behind it here?)between documentary's?' That is a question we couldn't answer. It will take a couple of days. They want to learn a lot so that's very good.

Yesterday evening I asked them a question about love. 'What happens if you fall in love with another student?'. They said it was a very strange question and they needed a break. The answer: How could you possibly fall in love with another student. Than you can't concentrate on lessons anymore and that would be a waist of your lessons. In Tanzania it's not done. If you have a relationship with another student than it's better to tell nobody...

Today we gave them an assignment to make an interview in the neighborhood with the subject education or health system. I am very curious what they made. Maybe tomorrow we can add one movie to the site..

Bye,

Anna
