Today was a very special day for me. One of the students invited me to come with him to his house and celebrate the birth of the baby of his sister. It was one of the most impressive things I ever encountered. Mainly because the family were very honoured to have a Msungoo (white person) visit them. They were so lovely and I was one of the stars of the celebration. I even had to join the ceremony and give a speech ( something I find very difficult, but now I really enjoyed saying thanks. )You are seeing a picture of me with one of the traditional masai guests.
Tomorrow we are going to visit Ngoro Ngoro National parc. Something I really look forward to. Eventhough we have to be ready at six O'clock in the morning :(
Sunday I'll write more about the lesseons we are giving and what I think about being a teacher. For now I only want to say:
My experience at KFI TANZANIA is turning out to be one of the best things ever happening to me.
