Progres

Mambo everybody!

I’m going to write something about my lessons and experience from 3 and 4 June.
Yesterday I gave a lesson in recognizing sound design. We watched a short piece of the movie “underworld” which has a unrealistic/science fiction sound. The students of KFI were very aware of a lott of the sounds in the movie. We talked about the use of voice, Foley, sound editing and sound fx.

Today we went to a primary school outside Arusha with 700 students. The school was located on a big location with just a couple of buildings. We talked with the head master from the school and had discussions about the problems in education in Tanzania. Some of the students filmed parts of the interview and visit, so i decided to record audio as well. Just before we went all students (kids between 5-15..?) started to make music! I was really exited because I was able to record it right away! It Sounds great! Today the avm students are teaching the KFI students. More info soon!

Bye

Joep

I hope you don't mind.
Very dear greetings to you al, also the students from KSI.
    With love, Truus
I hope to here soon from you
