One of the reasons I like filmmaking so much is the fact that You visit so many different places. I went to, Sibusiso, a center which helpes disabled people. It was very impressive, they do so much for those people. In Tanzania disabled people are often discriminated and the mother of the child is also stigmatized. In this center they help the child aswell as the mother. They both gain confidence and will be able to contribute to society. We went there because my group mant to make a documentary about disabled people to give them a voice and let everyone know that with some help they could be very happy. I'm very rpoud of my students and hope it will be a great documentary that will stir things up around here.
The manager of the center is a very passionate Dutch lady and she showed us her house. This is it and it is my dreamhouse!!
